POST ENGINEERSENIOR ENGINEER (CIVIL) DUTIES 1 TO DESIGN EXECUTE


Post: Engineer/Senior Engineer (Civil)


Duties:



  1. To design, execute, supervise and manage civil engineering works in general and wastewater works in particular including measurement of works and certification of payments.


  1. To investigate and carry out surveys pertaining to water pollution.


  1. To supervise operation and maintenance of wastewater system.


  1. To guide, supervise and co-ordinate the work of subordinate staff.


  1. To assist in the preparation of tender documents or any other documents related to procurement.


  1. To liaise and co-ordinate with private and public sector organizations in connection with the management of the wastewater sector.


  1. To ensure co-ordination with employees working in the various divisions of the Authority.


  1. To assist the Supervisor/Head of Section in the performance of his duties.


  1. To use ICT in the performance of his duties.


  1. To perform such other duties directly related to the main duties listed above or related to the delivery of the output and results expected from the Engineer/ Senior Engineer (Civil) in the roles ascribed to him.
