Launch Boardmaker. Next, locate and/or create a picture and copy it to your clipboard.
Next, open the Symbol Finder dialog box by single mouse-clicking on the Symbols Finder Tool button. Then, single mouse-click on Edit in the toolbar at the top of the screen and scroll down to and single mouse-click on Paste. (Hint: You can also use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+V to paste the picture as well.)
A My Symbols/Mine dialog box appears onscreen displaying a preview of your picture. First, type a name for your picture in the space provided and single mouse-click on the button, Add a Name, to add the name to the visible list. Next, assign your picture to a category by single mouse-clicking on the button, Assign Categories. An Assign Categories to Symbol dialog box appears onscreen. Select the appropriate category for the picture and click OK. You will notice the category has been assigned to the picture in the previous dialog box. Click OK to exit.
You will now see your newly added picture within the Symbol Finder dialog box. You did it!
