Art 283.2 Points of Imported horses

Foreign horses imported into Australia will be awarded points according to their age (see table below) unless the horse owner can produce documentation to prove that the horse should be pointed differently. Imported horses ages will be determined as at 1st January. Imported horses must be assessed by the grading panel within 3 months of their importation.

Owners of foreign horses imported into Australia must provide documentation on the previous jumping performances of the horse to the relevant EA State Branch, if the automatic allocation is not appropriate.

Please submit to your State Branch upon initial registration of the horse. The State Branch should then forward the documentation including all supporting paperwork to the EA National Office via email [email protected]
