JANELLE CLARKEHOLLEY HAS BEEN SELECTED AS ONE OF TWO



Janelle Clarke-Holley has been selected as one of two finalists for the position of Principal of Carver Middle High School. Mrs. Clarke-Holley began her career in education as an Assistant Principal of the Feinstein High School, Providence, R.I. in 2004. In 2008, Mrs. Clarke – Holley became the Principal of the Providence Academy of International Studies in Providence, R.I. In 2010, Mrs. Clarke – Holley was hired as a Transformation Principal for two high schools in one building : The Providence Academy of International Studies and William B. Cooley, Sr. Health, Science and Technology High School. In 2013, Mrs. Clarke Holley was appointed as the Turnaround Middle School Principal of the Governor Christopher Del Sesto Middle School in Providence, R.I. Currently she is a Doctoral Candidate at Northeastern University.

Mrs. Clarke – Holley completed three degrees at Johnson and Wales University, Providence, R.I.: Associates in Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Psychology, Bachelor of Science in Marketing, Master’s in Education. Mrs. Clarke – Holley received a Master’s of Arts in Education and Administration from the University of Rhode Island. She is currently a Doctoral Candidate at Northeastern University, Boston, Massachusetts.

Mrs. Clarke – Holley and her family are ready to relocate to southeastern Massachusetts. Mrs. Clarke – Holley stated: “great leaders work collaboratively with all stakeholders, are great listeners and always assumes the best in others.”
