 Description

We use global variables for the deployer username and password when configuring the Bamboo build plans for the Maven Artifactory tasks, and we just recently upgrade to Bamboo 6.10.3 and the JFrog plugin 2.7.2

We are seeing override deployer username and override password as new fields in tasks which are not able to parse the bamboo global variable and results in error. We are getting 401 authentication issues when trying to select the target repository. This is a HUGE blocker for us as we have over 11K build plans relaying on this.

The release notes suggests no change in UI and override can be achieved through REST API. but we are seeing text boxes as input for this. please see attachment.

We tried with empty values and it is working fine with deploymnet. but all of our existing build plan already have these values and its not feasible to go and remove the username\password.

This needs to be fixed ASA – I dont see version 2.7.2 as affected version, hence added as 2.7.1.

We have the same issue with plan variables. This is a huge issue that affects a lot of our developers and we get nearly daily support requests caused by this problem.
