Key worker mobile testing facilities in North Yorkshire

Public information issued on behalf of the Ministry of Defence and Department of Health and Social Care

As part of the national roll out of the Key Worker Testing for COVID–19, a number of military run drive-through Mobile Testing Units will be operating in North Yorkshire over the next few days.

These tests are available for eligible key workers who are self-isolating because they are within the first 5 days of displaying symptoms of COVID-19.

The tests are also available for key workers who are self-isolating because someone else in their household is displaying symptoms. The householder displaying the symptoms can also be tested at the site with the key worker.

The testing site will also be available for children of key workers, aged between 12 to 18, who are showing symptoms. These tests will need to be conducted by the parent (advice will be given at site).

Eligible key workers will need to bring their work I.D. and confirmation of test booking with them to verify their role and will need to attend in their own household vehicle.  Those arriving without identification or arriving on public transport, taxis or walking will not gain access to the site will not be able to undergo a test.

Any time slot provided outside the stated times below will not be viable. If a nonviable time is received at the time of booking, please attend the centre between the times stated below.
