Changes Included in This Revision

The table below describes the changes included in this revision of Veterans Benefits Manual M21-1, Part V, “Pension and Parents’ Dependency and Indemnity Compensation (DIC),” Subpart i, “Eligibility and Development.”

Notes: Minor editorial changes have been made to

• update incorrect or obsolete hyperlink references

• update the term “veteran” to “Veteran”

• update obsolete terminology, where appropriate

• update the term “Improved Pension” to “current-law pension”

• update the term “live pension” to “Veterans Pension”

• update the term “death pension” to “Survivors Pension”

• reassign alphabetical designations to individual blocks and repaginate, where necessary, to account for new and/or deleted blocks within a topic, and

• bring the document into conformance with M21-1 standards.

Citation
