CELEBRATION OF WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY

INTRODUCTION

“Sukh Dukh Ke Sathi Sanstha”(SDKS) formed in Sept’2010 by morning walkers of like minded people of Dwarka(Sectors 20 to 23) having elected governing body, is carrying lot of social work/activities on ongoing basis in co-ordination with various Govt. Deptts/Agencies namely DDA,MCD,Horticulture,Delhi Police,BSES,DTC etc having direct bearing/impacting the community in general; like plantation during rainy season, nurturing/ caring of plants, maintenance of various parks, sanitation/cleanliness of roads/back lanes, street lights, pollution control, law & Order. Sanstha also takes care of poorest of the poor community by holding free health check-up camps, donating wearable clothes, celebrate children day exclusive for wards from poor families etc.

CELEBRATION OF WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY AS PER PROGRAMME

DAY & DATE : Saturday, 7^th June, 2014

TIMINGS : 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

VENUE : Community Hall of Chitrakoot Aptts,Plot-9, Sector-22, Dwarka.

OBJECTIVE : To create awareness amongst the invitees/gathering from

near by societies about the various aspects of environment

impacting our lives by holding lecture/talks by the eminent

personalities in the respective fields, particularly on the subjects

given below:-

• Revival of Water Bodies in Dwarka

• Garbage Management.

• Underground Water In Dwarka

• Connecting People to Plants

• Noise Pollution
