Regatta for Children with Autism Information
Autism is a rarely understood disorder of neural development first noticed in early childhood. Savannah Sailing Center will host The 6th Annual Sailing Regatta for Children with Autism and Special needs, providing an opportunity for them and their families to experience the joy of sailing and open up a new world of interest. If you have a child with autism/special needs please bring him/her along with the entire family to Lake Mayer on Saturday, April 8, 2017 from 10am-2pm and sail with the wind. A parent or guardian must accompany all children!
All children, family members, volunteers and company representatives must complete a registration and waiver form to attend this event. These forms can be downloaded from our website @www.savannahsailingcenter.org or contact us at (912-352-9996) and we will send you the forms.
We welcome company’s wishing to set up a booth to disperse information and ask that they provide an arts and craft activity for approximately 200 children. Also, we ask that each company make a monetary donation to Savannah Sailing Center in lieu of a booth charge. SSC is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization and all donations are tax deductible! Our sponsorship levels of giving can be downloaded from our website @www.savannahsailingcenter.org or we can send you the information via email. Please let us know if you would like to participate in this event!
