Schedule XCVI – Slovenia



The following communication, dated 20 December 2000, has been received from the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Slovenia.

Pursuant to Paragraph 2 of the Annex of the Ministerial Declaration on Trade in Information Technology Products, and in accordance with the Decision of 26 March 1980 on Procedures for Modification and Rectification of Schedules of Tariff concessions (BISD 27S/25), the Republic of Slovenia hereby submits her draft schedule of tariff concessions on IT products, for the purpose of modification of the Schedule XCVI-Republic of Slovenia.

The implementation of the above mentioned modification is subject to the completion of Slovenia's internal procedures and notification given to that effect by the Government of the Republic of Slovenia to the Director-General of the WTO. Nevertheless Slovenia shall apply its commitments provisionally from 1 January 2001.

If no objection is notified to the Secretariat within three months from the date of this document, the rectifications and modifications to Schedule XCVI – Slovenia will be deemed to be approved and will be formally certified.
