INSTRUCTIONS - FOR CLUB APPLICANT
Club applying must be in good standing with Gymnastics Ontario

NEW PROCESS:
Application must be FULLY
complete for any and all competitions being hosted in Ontario
(dates will not be held for incomplete applications)
In order to be considered
and processed, 3
date choices
must be submitted. Host
clubs will receive an email notice of competition date being
reserved from Gymnastics Ontario along with hosting package.
STEP 2: Hosting
Package must be fully
completed and returned to the Women’s Program Manager, 2
weeks after date notification has been received to secure/confirm
date. The
hosting package will include (facility information, equipment,
floor plan and call to meet, GCG International Sanction (see below)
etc.). Hosting Packages received after the two-week mark will risk
losing their date.
STEP
1: Complete this application (2 pages) to secure date.
All
interested clubs are to return the completed Bid
to Host Application for
all GO qualifiers, Tour Selection, and Invitationals no later than
June 21, 2019,
4:00 pm.

Completed applications will be considered on a first come, first served basis within a set of criteria (dates will not be held for incomplete applications). Within each priority, date received will be taken into consideration during selection. Every attempt will be made to assign only 3 competitions (panels) to any given weekend.
Must fill out and return the GCG Authorization Form with their Bid to Host application. The GCG Authorization form must be submitted a minimum of 7 months before the event.
Payment must be submitted with the application in order for the sanction to be considered complete.
Important Notes:
For
competitions in the qualifying period, the CCJ will be assigned by
GO. The host club will be responsible for the additional fee for
services ($100 per day/per set of equipment). This service will
include securing judges (at club’s option), panel assignments
and communication. This does not refer to or include Invitational
only competitions and GO Events (ie. Tour Selection and Ontario
Championships which are assigned by GO).

athlete may be scheduled. Xcel, Aspire, and HP categories cannot be
combined within JO Sessions.
For
all GO Events and Qualifiers,
you are not required
to designate days. If you choose not to designate days, all panels
must have Level 9 and higher judges.

Qualifier (December-March). All other competitions they must
register as either Level 7 or 8 and follow JO Level 7 & 8
rules and warm-up format. High
Performance – two
competitions opportunities at designated Level 6-9 Optional
Qualifiers. All other competitions that includes HP athletes will
only be permitted as demonstration athletes (no judges/separate
session) or as Invitational after May 1 weekend. |
