JOB DESCRIPTION – CASUAL FORMAT CREW


Reports to: Arena Format Supervisor

Salary: £8.91 per hour. Time and a half will be paid for night work between the hours of 12am – 6am.


SUMMARY OF ROLE


The Format Crew is responsible for the setting up and breaking down of the Pavilions stage, technical equipment and seating arrangements. The Format Crew also assists with the maintenance requirements of the Technical Department and wider Pavilions site.


PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES


  1. To assist in setting up the Arena to specified layout.

  1. Breaking down of the stage, technical equipment and seating area.

  1. To be aware of own and others health & safety within the working environment.


PRINCIPAL TASKS


  1. To set Arena seating in a range of formats.


  1. To build stage to specification.


  1. Load in and load out for performances & events.


  1. Install lighting and sound equipment.


  1. Set basketball format to include court marking, hoop installation, etc.


  1. To assist in the maintenance and servicing of all Arena equipment and systems.


  1. Any other reasonable duties as may be requested from time to time.


  1. To monitor and comply with all health and safety regulations.


  1. To work according to the Normal Operating Procedures and the Training Booklet.
