members of the Boys & Girls Club of Cape Cod were given a
special treat by the Boston Celtics and Pepsi. Boston Celtic’s
great, Jo Jo White and Wyk Grousbeck, Celtics CEO and managing
partner, were guests at the Club. Accompanied by the Celtics
Director of Community Relations, Wayne Levy, who emceed the event,
and Pepsi executive John Holloran, Grousbeck and White met with the
kids and handed out game tickets for the Celtic’s opening
night to any Club Member wearing Celtics green. Children were able

that serve 700 Cape Cod children. Mashpee Selectman, John Cahalane,

Girls Club of Cape Cod, presented the Celtics with a plaque
declaring October 1st “Boston Celtics Day”
and in return accepted a framed and matted game shirt from Celtics

Provost. “The kids have been making posters and welcome
Celtics signs all week in anticipation of their visit. The Boston
