Teaching
Process
Warm-up
1. Greets the students.
2. Uses an example
about misunderstanding of pronunciation (either an English example or
Chinese) as an opening to tell students the importance of
pronunciation.
Activity I
1. Presents students with the slides of the
words on their computer screens (eg. ppt).
2. Randomly asks
students to pronounce those words.
3. Teaches students how to
pronounce the words correctly.
Activity II
1. Asks students to link to the target
website:
http://www.manythings.org/ac/
2.
Demonstrates the use of the website.
3. Asks students to play
the game several times as a practice.
(Teacher could ask
students to do a competition like "who can finish the
game
with the shortest time,” etc.)
Activity III:
1. If time allows, asks students to play
another game listed on the website and
see if they have
any questions.
Wrap-up:
1. Asks students to do the feedback sheet on the
internet (if possible)
