Background.

Nettlebed surgery undertakes to complete the DSQS for 201314

As part of the scheme, it is required that an audit of dispensing services is undertaken.

The audit of dispensing services should include arrangement to assess the nature and quality of advice provided to patient as part of the dispensing service.


Method.

103 patient surveys distributed and replies were received from 103patients.

Discussion and circulation of Dispensary Services Audit.


The Audit was circulated to all members of staff of Nettlebed surgery – both clinical and non clinical and subsequently discussed.


Overall the audit demonstrates an extremely high level of satisfaction with the dispensary, the services offered and the advice given by the dispenser. Our aim is to maintain this high standard and we will be reauditing our services in 2014/15 using the same audit pro-forma questions for comparison.
