Below is a list of all the files you receive in the ehr folder, probably in your pub or export directory

EHR Client Installation and Setup

Below is a list of all the files you should receive when Pharmacy 5/7 is installed. The files will be located in your Pub or Export folder. Once the kids files and executable files are installed you can delete this folder and contents.

EHR CLIENT INSTALLATION AND SETUP BELOW IS A LIST

Step1:

On your Windows Server, create a shared folder called EHR. Set the permissions to read-only for Domain Users.

Extract the contents of the ehr_010client.zip file into the EHR folder.

Once you have extracted the ehr_010client.zip this is what it should look like

Step 2:

In the Bin Folder:

Edit and save Vcbroker.ini file changing the Servers section to your RPMS IP address, port, and namespace

S

Example of Ft Yuma’s Vcbroker.ini file

------------------------------------------------------

; Installation Notes:

; Replace <ip address>, <port>, and <uci> with the IP address of your RPMS

; system, the port number of the primary broker listener process, and the

; uci of the target system, respectively. Optionally, you may replace the

; server name (RPMS) with a more descriptive term, and add additional server

; entries if required.

[Servers]

RPMS=161.223.205.1:9200:FYH Change this to your server, port #, UCI

[Settings]

DefaultServer=RPMS

---------------------------------------------------------------

tep 3:

Copy the Vcbroker.ini file from the bin folder to the UTL Folder (you will be prompted to replace the existing one- answer YES).

Step 4:

In the bin folder

Edit Vuecentric.ini file changing the SourcePath and DefaultPath entry to the path where the application repository is located.

TIP: you can find your Domain name using mailman

Example of how to find your domain name

Select IHS Kernel Option: MAILMAN Menu

VA MailMan 8.0 service for ADAM.ADAM@WINTERHAVN-HO.OHX.IHS.GOV

You last used MailMan: 06/04/07@14:52

You have 298 new messages.

The RPMS Domain name can also be found in the ^XMB(“NETNAME”) global node.

EXAMPLE: Ft.Yuma’s Vuecentric.ini file

[settings]

; Installation notes:

; Replace <ip address> below with the IP address of your server where source

; files are kept. Replace <domain name> below with the domain name of your

; RPMS system.

; ================================================================================

; This is the directory path to where the master file copies are kept.

SourcePath=\\161.223.212.104\EHR\bin Change to your site info

; This sets the default path that is used if an explicit path is not given.

DefaultPath=%ProgramFiles%\VueCentric\ WINTERHAVN-HO.OHX.IHS.GOV\ Change to your Domain name

Step 5:

Install the Kids patches that you are missing. You don’t need to install PXRM (Reminders patches) right now, since the taxonomies need to be populated first.

These are the kids patches that you need- check first and see which ones you need. The notes file with instructions are in the EHR folder.

ehr_0100.03.exe

ehr_0100.04.exe

ehr_0100.05.exe

ehr_0100.06.exe

Step 7: Installing the BGO components

Unzip the bgo_0110.zip file. Read the installation notes. You do not need to install the KIDS build for v1.1 or v1.1 patch 1 as they were installed during the Pharmacy v7 installation. Follow the directions for the client side installation found in section 3.2 of the v 1.1 Installation Guide for EHR GUI Objects.

Follow the directions listed in section 4b of the Installation Notes for v1.1 patch 1 of the EHR GUI Objects package

Step 8: Setting up the vcUpdater Service

Once you have completed all steps 1 through 7, read and follow the instructions defined in the vcUpdaterService_Deployment.pdf included in the utl folder. It is extremely important that each step occur in the order listed in that document.

Step 9:
