“…with regards to Legal Aid, and specifically, exceptional case Funding and Determinations. s10(2) of the Legal Aid, Sentencing and Punishment of Offenders Act 2012 provides the criteria for granting Exceptional Case Funding (ECF). My requests for information are as follows: Please provide the number of applications made for ECF since 1 April 2013 for Family cases. Please provide the number of applications approved for ECF since 1 April 2013 for Family cases. Please provide the number of original applications which were appealed to the LAA in Family cases. Please provide the number of successful appeals to the LAA in Family cases.”
