Add the current page to your favourites if you use it regularly

Once you have clicked on the name of an individual student, you will access their records. Navigate using the tabs to gain information on the student.

Step 5: The Student Pathway

Pathway is a timeline image of the students’ research programme showing key milestones.

Click on the milestones to gain more information

Step 6: Progression

Progression is a full progression record of each milestone and activity related to the individual students’ study.

Rows are colour coded:

Red – the milestone form is overdue and needs to be saved and submitted.

Amber – the form is overdue and needs to be submitted, it has already been saved.

Green – the milestone is complete.

White – the milestone is in the future

Click on the form title to access the form where you can edit, save and submit

Status shows the progress of the form, for example, available, saved, submitted, or authorised. When a form is submitted it cannot be changed.

Step 7: Completing forms


When the status shows the form has been saved by the student, click on the form.


Check and complete any relevant fields.


Click submit – once the form is submitted no further changes can be made.


You will be invited to authorize the form.


Once the form is submitted and/or authorized click return to go back to the progression record. You will see the status of the form is updated. The student will then be invited to authorize the form.
