Application Guidelines
About WRSCF
Wildlife Reserves Singapore Conservation Fund (WRSCF) was registered in 2009 as a charity and is an institution of public character with the primary purpose of conserving endangered native wildlife. The WRSCF seeks to fund projects which make a pragmatic, substantial and long-lasting contribution to native wildlife research and conservation, which includes elements such as sustainable development, public education and environmental awareness. WRSCF is designed to provide accessible and flexible grants for persons who want to contribute to the conservation of native wildlife species are welcome to apply but projects conducted in others parts of the World, other than Singapore, will not be considered for funding under WRSCF.
Request for proposals and submission deadlines will be made available on the WRSCF website at http://www.wrscf.org.sg/. All application material must be received by the stipulated deadlines to be considered for the particular review cycle. The deadline may be extended at the discretion of the WRSCF management and the Specialist Panel.
Funding will be awarded on a competitive and case-by-case basis based on the following criteria:
Project is consistent with the WRSCF objectives and strategic directions
Project is relevant to conservation
Project is feasible and has high probability of success
Project contributes to education and outreach
Project maximizes opportunities for collaboration and synergy
How to apply:
Submit an electronic and hardcopy of the proposal to Secretary (WRSCF), 80 Mandai Lake Road, Singapore (Phone: 6768 5322; Fax: 6363 8365; Email Dr Jessica Lee at: [email protected] ) following the format outlined.

The WRSCF applicant should fill out this form.
The application should be typewritten in English in 12pt Courier or Times Roman font.
Please strictly follow instructions on the maximum word count and/or maximum number of pages allowed.
The Specialist Panel may request for additional information. Please note WRSCF does not provide support of institutional indirect costs such as overhead component and GST (goods and services tax).

A. Abstract of proposal
Please provide a succinct and accurate description of the proposal in no more than 300 words. Include keywords (no more than five). The abstract should be suitable for publication on a project website.

Describe the proposed project in detail. It should include significance of project, objectives, methods, and expected results. Please restrict the writing to maximum 3 pages including appropriate references.

Applicants are not restricted to qualified scientists, but must be able to compile a written report to describe and quantify the success of their work with appropriate references. Conservationists from any country are welcome to apply but projects conducted in others parts of the World, other than Singapore, will not be considered for funding under WRSCF.
