You asked for the following information from the Legal Aid Agency (LAA), an Executive Agency of the Ministry of Justice (MoJ):

“I request a list of the solicitors' firms who have a contract with the Legal Aid Agency to receive criminal legal aid, especially for duty solicitor roles.”

‘I am currently researching the market for duty solicitors funded by criminal legal aid and I wondered if I am able to obtain the names of the law firms who receive criminal legal aid?

Is this information freely available on the MoJ website or will I have to submit a Freedom of Information Act request to obtain it?’
