Our Lady of Good Hope Music Schedule
Christmas Eve and Day
Last Minute Details
All musicians (Jim included) need to play all Christmas Carols (unless otherwise noted) out of the instrument-caroling book----“Play a Song of Christmas”.
Choir members in both groups need to use their red binders to keep music in as well.
Try to wear something “festive” (isn’t that a great word)----something red is fine.
4:30 PM Mass: YAC, Children’s Choir and Ensemble. Warm-Up at 3:00 PM in the Music Room. Carols start at 4:00 PM.
Midnight Mass @ 11:00: Warm-Up at 9:15 PM in the Music Room. Carols start at 10:20 PM.
10:00 AM Mass: Warm-Up at 9:00 AM in the Music Room. Carols at 9:30 AM
No practice for either group until Wednesday Jan. 4th. Normal times. Enjoy the time off and relax----you all deserve it!!!!!!
4:00 p.m. Caroling Service and 4:30 p.m. Mass

How many sopranos does it take to change a light bulb?
Just one. She holds the bulb and the world revolves around her.
How many altos does it take to change a light bulb?
None. They can’t get up that high.
How many tenors does it take to change a light bulb?
Five. One to do it, and four to say, “It’s too high for him.”
How many basses does it take to change a light bulb?
None. They’re so macho they prefer to walk in the dark and bang their shins.
How long does it take for a conductor to screw in a light bulb?
Nobody knows because no one was watching.
What do choruses use to pay for things?
Har-money.
Did you hear about the choir boy who couldn’t find a singing partner?
He had to buy a duet yourself kit.
Why were the singers locked out of their rehearsal room?
They missed the key change.
A young child told his mother "When I grow up I'm going to be a choir singer."
His
mother responded "Well honey, you know you can't do both."
What do you call a successful choral director?
A woman whose husband has 2 jobs.
