Robin K. Olson MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

For Graduating Students of Sheboygan North High School

2020-2021

The Robin K. Olson Scholarship is available to graduating seniors of Sheboygan North High School who intend to continue their education. The Sheboygan Public Education Foundation administers this scholarship on behalf of the Olson family. The Olson family has established the criteria for this scholarship. A $1000 scholarship will be awarded in her loving memory.

Robin K. Olson was a 1976 graduate of Sheboygan North High School. She loved every second of her time at North. She was a fun loving person who brought joy to everyone she knew. She enjoyed life to the fullest and would not have been considered an exemplary student by any means, but was smart and graduated in the upper half of her class. She wanted her children to think she was a bookworm so they would value education as she came to realize how important it was. While at North she lived life to the fullest every day and participated in everything high school had to offer. Upon graduation Robin attended LTC to become an Optometric assistant…and later an Optician. She buckled down in the academic area after high school and in addition to continuing to enjoy herself she excelled at school. She had the unique ability to balance school, fun, and friends to end up with many invaluable high school and college experiences plus a wonderful education. She went on to marry her high school sweetheart and be an amazing wife, mother, friend and business woman in the Sheboygan Area and beyond.

.

Robin K. Olson passed away on November 9, 2012. Many generous memorial gifts were given in her honor to establish a scholarship fund in her name for Sheboygan North High School. It is appropriate that a scholarship be presented to a fun loving worthy student. This student, like her, maybe wasn’t the very best academic student he or she had the ability to be in high school, but has all the attributes and ability be an amazing person and succeed in life. Or this student may be someone who found an amazing way to balance school, fun, and friends, to get the best out of both, and will continue that amazing balance into their successful future.
