The master thesis in the joint program in Biotechnology is organized according to the following order:

a- should be filled by the student with keeping the main design without changes
b- Only add student's name without changing the text or layout

I- Title page template and design:
Important note: All fonts in the master thesis should be either in Arial, or Times New Roman
The sketch below illustrates the title page design of the master thesis. A page of A4 size should be divided into 4 roughly equal areas where:
- AreaI: should mention the university name, the faculty and the program name.Font size = 12
- AreaII: The title of the master thesis, it should appear with:
- capital initials
- font size = 16
- line of double spacing
- Area III: The student full name
- the word "by" in the center
- the name with capital initials
- font size = 14
- AreaIV: The sentence: In Partial Fulfillment of the Requirements for the Degree
Master of Science
- font size = 12
- lines in single spacing
- Also the date, (Month, Year) should be written in the center bottom of the page in AreaIV

Table of content:
Students should follow the style, font and spacing as the following example for the table of content
- Font size = 12
- Chapter title = bold
- Allowed numbering: only number, sub-number, and sub-sub-number
- Any part before the introduction should have a Latin number page as above
Organization of the thesis body:
Student should follow the format as shown in the following example:
- Chapter and number: Capital, font size =14, bold
- Chapter title: Capital initial, font size = 14, bold
- Subtitle- one: Capital initials, font size = 12, bold
-Text under the subtitle: font size = 12

In the thesis body text, students should follow either numbering the references in brackets, eg, [3] or name date format, eg., (Baldwin et al. 2008)
