Additional protocol to the framework agreement

for student exchanges between

the University of A Coruña (Spain) and the University of ------ (-----)



The University of A Coruña, represented by its Rector Professor Xosé Luis Armesto Barbeito, with address in La Maestranza, s/n, 15001 A Coruña, Spain


and


The University of ----, represented by -------, with address in -----


Agree on the following terms of a Student Exchange Program:


1. Each institution will receive up to XX (insert number of students) students enrolled in undergraduate and graduate studies in the home university, to study for a minimum of one or a maximum of two semesters.


2. The host institution will not charge registration fees or tariffs to incoming exchange students.


3. The host institution will assist exchange students in finding housing.


4. Exchange students will pay all their own travel and health expenditures.


5. Exchange students will have access to libraries, Internet and sport facilities in the host institution.


6. The home institution will select the students that will visit the host institution, and will inform the latter of the selection with at least two months notice prior to the commencement of the academic activities. The selected students must be enrolled in XX (insert field of graduate/undergraduate studies).


7. The subjects studied and completed by exchange students in the host institution will be approved and recognized by the home institution and will be added to the student's curriculum conducive to his or her degree, provided that they figure in a learning agreement which has been previously approved by the home institution.


8. The executive unit responsible for the Exchange Program at the University of ----- will be XX (address, email).


9. The executive unit responsible for the Exchange Program at the University of A Coruña will be the Office of International Relations (address: O Lagar, Campus de Elviña, 15071 A Coruña; email: [email protected]).

10. This protocol will last for 4 years, after which it will be evaluated and renewed if considered appropriate.


This protocol is signed in two documents, one in Spanish and one in English, with the same single effect.
