Policy for Selecting WAG Representative from Web Editors Group

Approved: February 8, 2005

In May, the departmental web editor currently serving on WAG will solicit a volunteer from the group to serve as the Web Editor Representative on the Web Advisory Group (WAG). If only one person expresses an interest in this position, that person will become the Web Editor Representative. If more than one person expresses an interest, the membership of the Web Editors group will select who shall become the representative by a paper ballot vote.

The term of appointment will begin in August and continue for one year. The representative serves a dual role, reporting information from the Web Editors Group to WAG and reporting information from WAG to the Web Editors Group.
