SESSION PROPOSALS FOR 2002 CONFERENCE.

A call was made for proposals. It was suggested that we need to find the names of women artists in the St. Louis area. E. Petraits, an artist herself in St. Louis, will look into this. Further suggestions were: 1) a possible contact for a speaker from a group of women artists in St. Louis. 2) a connection with the Women's Caucus for the Arts, especially if there is a chapter in St. Louis. 3) a "women writing for the arts" activity which could be a workshop proposal. Further discussion of these and other proposals will take place on our listserve when it is up and running. St. Louis conference will be meeting with VRA.

UPDATE AND OTHER PUBLISHING

Laura recognized the work of Sharon Wasserman, editor of UPDATE for the year 2000. There was a call for suggestions for column topics to be given to the editors for 2001, Ruth Wallach and Patricia Siska. Among the suggestions which came forth were bibliographies, theme articles, notable exhibits, woman's art centers in local areas, biobibliographies of woman artists, new books and institutional publications on women and art topics. K. Wasserman reminded us that the National Museum of Women in Art produces an ongoing list of exhibitions.

WOMEN AND ART ROUND TABLE WEBSITE

The Women and Art Round Table Website, created by Susan Clarke, was reviewed. A brief discussion followed. The white and yellow design won the vote. Further discussion of content and other features will take place over the listserve. Once more content is added, the website will officially be linked to the ARLIS homepage

WOMART LISTSERVE

C. Goldsmith will set up an unmoderated open list.

OTHER BUSINESS AND POSSIBLE PROJECTS

M. Juarez, Moderator for 2001-2002, has a vision for 50 people in the Women and Arts Round Table so that we will have a bigger presence in ARLIS. He believes that we should send out more invitations. This year we sent out an invitation and many people responded.

M. Juarez asked for clarification on the roles of officers. This can be a discussion over the listserve.
