Are you currently working as
an Electrician or have substantial experience in the electrical
contracting industry?
Yes
Can you
provide certificates proving you have successfully completed the
following (assessed) training:
SELECT’S
ECS Health & Safety Course (completed
within the last 30 months); and
Scottish
Building Standards (completed
within the last 30 months); and a
Suitably
assessed training course on the Requirements of IET Wiring
Regulations to BS 7671 (within
the last 5 years). Click

Yes
Complete
and return the CEC Application Form
to SECTT with the appropriate supporting documentation and
administration fees.
When appropriate and after
your application has been approved you will receive an SJIB
Provisional Electrician’s card which will be valid for 18
months.
Please
Note:
No other grade will be allocated to you until you have been graded
as an Electrician for at least two years.
