IMS Dance Club is BACK!
Purpose:
It is a place for 6th, 7th and 8th graders to have fun and be physically active
To introduce them to genre of dances
Help them build self confidence
A place to belong and build lasting friendships
When:
Every Tuesday after school from 3-4. Since it is an IMS after school activity, students are eligible to take the “activity bus”. Club will run from Tuesday October 2, through Tuesday December 11th.

Jen Johnson is an IMS and MIHS (class of 2002) graduate. She has danced for 20 years in different genres, including tap, jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, modern, ballet, ballroom, drill and pom. Jen was a member of the MIHS Drill Team for four years (1998-2002) and was All-State her junior and senior year in Drill and Pom respectively. She also is an active judge for the Drill Team.

Shannon Verschueren is an IMS & MIHS (class of 2002) graduate. She teaches at Mercer Island High school and is the Drill team Coach. Shannon has danced for 20 years, participating in: ballet, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, ballroom, drill and Pom. Shannon was a member of the MIHS Drill team for three years, 1999-2002
The first season is $50.00 Please make checks payable to IMS ASB
