Special Services during July Sea Sunday, July 12th, a Service of Holy Communion at 6.30p.m. The collection will be shared equally between a Seafarer’s Charity and Church funds.

Songs of Praise A Group Service for all on August 30th at Stokesay Church at 10a.m. The Church will be beautifully decorated for the annual Flower Festival.


Barbecue and Walk This has become a very popular annual event and will take place this year on Sunday August 2nd.Meet at 6.30p.m. for further details phone Mary on 01694 781260.

Our Annual Garden Fete held on June 20th was a great success this year; we were blessed with sunshine and enjoyed a full programme of entertainment, special thanks to everyone who worked very hard to set up the marquees and furniture on the site and remove it afterwards and to all who helped in so many ways on the day.

The support of the manager and staff of the Historic Working Farm, who joined with us to celebrate the fortieth anniversary of their opening, was greatly appreciated.

Wild Flower Walk. Postponed from June 24th the walk will now take place on Wednesday July 8th. Meet at Mr. Henry Hand’s at Alcaston. Cost £5.00 including refreshments. Enquiries: Henry Hand 01694 781518 or Thelma Thompson 01694 722821

Grass Cutting in the Churchyard. Saturday July 18th from 10.00a.m. To cut the long grass. We need as many people as possible to help with this, if you have a strimmer please bring it with you on the day.
