How to Enable the anti vurus to send mail in ALEPH GUI

Make sure that you have no anti virus program on PC which prevents email from being sent using port 25. ALEPH500 GUI sends email via SMTP port 25. Many anti virus PC programs by default have this blocked. For example if you have MacAfee anti virus do:

start > programs > network associates > virus scan console (or whatever you do on your PC to get to "virus scan console").

Double click "access protection"

The following line by default is checked:

Prevent mass mailing worms from sending mail ports 25

To be able to send email from ALEPH GUI this line must be unchecked.
