The Nevada Department of Corrections (NDOC) reports that on Saturday, November 10, 2018, at approximately 8:35 AM, Inmate Tam C. Nguyen, #60221, died in the Infirmary at High Desert State Prison located approximately 30 miles north of Las Vegas, Nevada. Nguyen, a 63 year old male, was committed from Clark County on February 8, 1999 and was serving a sentence of 480 months to Life with the possibility of parole for Murder 1st Degree with Deadly Weapon Enhancement. The Clark City Coroner’s Office responded. An autopsy will be scheduled per NRS 209.3815. Next of kin has been notified.
