LEDS C4 establishes itself as lighting leader with sales of 76 million euros and sustained annual growth of 10 per cent over the last four years
After finalising 2018 with a turnover of 76 million euros, LEDS C4 has established itself as a leading company in national lighting and secures its international presence in more than 140 countries, in five continents.
Channelling 3 per cent of its profits into R&D, the Spanish group is committed to using solutions based on control and connectivity (Internet of things) in its products to continue company expansion in all markets.

international company with fifty years of history, LEDS C4 is at the
forefront of the lighting industry. The firm’s lighting
solutions are adapted for an extensive range of projects, which are
marketed in more than 140 countries across five continents.
In 2018, the company hit a record turnover of 76 million euros, (75 per cent in export markets) and recorded a sustained growth of 10 per cent over the last four years. LEDS C4 has offices in Barcelona and Madrid, as well as design, production and logistics sites (45,000 m2) in Lleida, in which it has invested more than 10 million euros over the last three years. In 2018, LEDS C4 continued to expand international operations by establishing new branches in Germany and the UK, which are added to the already established branches in the United Arab Emirates, Poland, Hong Kong, China and Singapore.
LEDS C4 conducts end-to-end innovative projects. The company has extensive expertise in fashioning architectural spaces through lighting design, with a company team of more than 400 professionals, who provide an impeccable service for clients.
Besides producing indoor and outdoor technical and decorative lighting, LEDS C4 specialises in providing solutions based on control and connectivity through the IoT (Internet of Things). The company designs and develops intelligent lighting systems that offer digital services beyond lighting to include obtaining and managing Big Data.
The firm’s recent initiatives affirm its industry presence. These include: the acquisition of a South African company and the urban lighting company Carandini, recognised for its innovative lighting solutions for roads and industrial installations in Europe, the Americas and Africa. Carandini is also renowned for conducting 100 per cent of its manufacturing nationally.
LEDS C4 invests 3 per cent of its annual turnover in research and development, demonstrating the company's clear commitment to continued growth, both nationally and internationally.
Working in close collaboration with architects like Michela Mezzavilla and designers like Birgit Walter, the company has produced lighting for a range of projects, which include: Hotel Fairmont Rey Juan Carlos I; Hotel Pullman; The Barcelona Edition (Marriott); Gran Teatro del Liceo; Sagrada Familia; and Hospital de Sant Pau in Catalonia. In other areas of Spain, these projects include: Hotel Palacio Vallier in Valencia; Hipotels Barrosa Park in Chiclana de la Frontera; and Teatro Romano in Sagunto. International projects include: the Mazda dealership in Melbourne; Lorenzo Quinn’s ‘Building Bridges’ at the Venice Biennial; Crowne Plaza Manchester hotel in London; and Opera residential Tower in the United Arab Emirates. In the near future, LEDS C4 will provide lighting for the gardens at the prestigious Festival Grec in Barcelona, one of the city’s most significant cultural events of the year. The lighting design will take its inspiration from productions showcased at the theatre festival.
Recently, the firm released its 2019 Catalogue for the company’s designer brand Grok at the leading international trade fair Euroluce 2019, in Milan. This year, LEDS C4 will also launch new products for Office and Emergency lighting.
