Hi! My name is Ella. I’m interested I pop music. I like a lot of groups and singers but my favourite singer is Anastacia. She’s American. She’s from Chicago and she’s 33 years old. Anastacia loves music! She’s a great singer and her music is excellent! Sometimes it’s slow and sometimes it’s fast and exciting and the lyrics are always good. I have got all her CDs. She has got three albums and a number 1 single, Left Outside Alone. Her next concert is in London. It’s on the 14th December at the London Apollo. Tickets for the concert are on sale in October.

Callum’s ‘school’ day
Callum Ferguson isn’t a normal student. He’s fourteen and he doesn’t go to school. His mother teaches him and his sister, Jean, at home. Their lessons start at nine o’clock and they have lunch at half past twelve. Their school day finishes at half past three and they normally do forty-five minutes of homework every day.
They study history, geography, maths, English, French, science and they revise for the same exams as their friends at school. But at home they also study extra subjects like graphic design and food technology. Another tutor, Mr Gregory, teaches them music and art. Callum’s favourite subject is geography. He starts a new project every month. Jean prefers maths. They can’t do P.E. at home so they go to the sports centre in the evenings.
Callum enjoys his lessons at home. He doesn’t have to get up early or wear a uniform. His mother is a good teacher because teachers in normal schools don’t have much time with each student. He doesn’t miss his friends because he sees them a lot in the evenings and at weekends.

Sometimes after class, Lee and his students have dinner together in the restaurant.
A lot of people in London want to learn to speak Chinese, so Lee has got a lot of students. His students work during the day so they attend the classes after work. They think that Chinese is very difficult.
