Responsible to: Logistics Manager
Main purpose of job: To work as part of the Stock Control Team, Scheduling of Stock Takes and Mini Cash Audits across all Stores. Identify and investigate stock variances. Process, compile, edit and distribute Stocktake Reports. Ensure all Goods Received and Cost Pricing are filed, recorded and amended as required. Ensure all Non-Scanning and Stock Adjustments are processed and amended as required. Monitor, access and evaluate or escalate as necessary all Line Counts. Assist as required in the processing of Store Orders with External Suppliers and any other duties as per requested by your Line Manager.
Stock Control:
To assist and draw up monthly stock take schedule with your Line Manager ensuring all Stores are advised accordingly of schedule.
Discuss Stock Take Results with Store Management and agree necessary plan of action or escalate Stock concerns/issues to Line Manager and Retail Operations Manager.
Discuss with Line Manager & Operations Team need to put in place ‘Mini Stocktakes’ as part of Plan of Action for any Store with major stock loss issues.
Monitor, access and process results of Store Line Counts in conjunction with Store Management and again escalate any issues/concerns to Line Manager and Retail Operations Manager.
Conduct Mini Cash Audits as part of Stock Take process, completing relevant paperwork and escalate any issues/concerns to Cash & Security Manager and your Line Manager.
To investigate and resolve any Stock Loss concerns and escalate problems to relevant persons.
To conduct as requested Ad-hoc Stocktakes after a Robbery, Theft etc. and process report and paperwork.
When requested in the absence of the Senior Stock Controller to process Orders, Promotions, Stock, Pricing, Sales etc., to ensure the continued smooth running of the department.
To process and update Goods Received making stock adjustments for Shortages, Damages, Wastage & Refunds.
To download and set-up as requested Denso Guns for Stocktaking purposes.
Maintain and resolve all Non-Scanning issues/problems at the Stores.
To review CCTV footage to identify stock loss concerns
Pricing / Costs:
To assist in the processing, implementation and programming of Suppliers Promotions / Discount on Infinity system.
To assist Matching, Checking, Processing and Investigating Supplier Prices using the Infinity Purchase Order Extract Report.
To process all stock reductions requested by stores on a weekly basis.
To implement Price Changes as determined and when requested by the line manager.
Operations
To assist as required with Promo Checks, delivering of P.O.S., stock to Stores.
To be part of the Operations On-Call Rota on a monthly basis
Administration:
To check and monitor weekly / monthly Store Reports
IT
To assist as required with the maintenance and upkeep of store IT equipment
To assist as required in the replacing or installation of IT equipment
If required, general troubleshooting of daily problems with stores IT equipment or software.
Warehousing
If required to assist with the general duties in the warehouse
To deliver stock from the warehouse or internal transfers
To conduct weekly stock takes in the warehouse, if required
To escalate any stock concerns to the line manager
Staffing and Training
To report for work in good time and to begin work at the hours specified by the Logistics Manager or determined by the needs of the business
To attend meetings and training programmes as required by senior management.
To be flexible in availability to cover absenteeism and work extra hours if and when required.
To be able to work unsupervised and use your own initiative.
Any other duties relating to the position as may be deemed necessary by the management.
