I. CALL TO ORDER
A. President Ron Pritchard called the meeting to order at 6:02 p.m.

V. BOARD MINUTES
A. Commissioner Frey made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Miller, to approve the December 16, 2020 regular session minutes of the Board.
Vote by roll call: R. Pritchard - yes, Miller - yes, Frey - yes, and Aurand - yes; motion carried.
VI. FINANCIAL REPORTS - Review/Amend/Accept
A. Commissioner Aurand made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Frey to accept all financial documents for December 2020 as printed.
Vote by roll call: R. Pritchard - yes, Miller - yes, Frey - yes, and Aurand - yes; motion carried
VII. REPORTS
A. Commissioners
1. President R. Pritchard - Has recently received questions from the community regarding the opening the ice rink for the season.
2. Commissioner Miller - Expressed gratitude for all the work that the staff does to keep Woodcote a wonderful place for people to reserve.
3. Commissioner Frey - Expressed that he recently visited the Golf Room and was very impressed with the efforts put into the project. Questioned if the parking lot near the new pickle ball courts would be paved with Long indicating 9 spots will be paved to make the area handicap accessible.
4. Commissioner Aurand – None
B. Executive Director
The Board reviewed Long’s report as printed.
Long introduced Anthony Venier as one of the candidates running for the Park Board Commissioner position in the April 6th election.
Long indicated there was recently two Maintenance Department staff that tested positive for covid 19 with the department shut down for the month of January. They will likely open back up again Feb 1.
An inclusive playground for John Dixon Park will be installed in the summer of 2021with rubber mats installed on the ground to make it accessible to handicapped individuals.
Long is working with Tim Grosnick to develop 3 new bike trails at Lowell Park. Grosnick will be available at the Feb meeting to discuss the trails.
The four new boat slips that were offered to the community in Dec were leased out within one week.
Long is working to increase revenue for the District by adding additional boat slips at Lowell Park. This would involve very little work from the staff.
Long is working on securing funds from the community to build a community center. Use of community funds would eliminate the need for a referendum.
Pickle ball court installation is underway with good progress occurring.
Video of the December projects was shared with the Board.
VIII. NEW BUSINESS
A. Risk Management Policy - Review/Amend/Accept
Commissioner Frey made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Aurand, to accept the Risk Management Policy as presented.
Vote by roll call: R. Pritchard - yes, Miller - yes, Frey - yes, and Aurand - yes; motion carried.

At 6:53 p.m. Commissioner Miller made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Frey, to adjourn.
