Katie Hoyt motioned to approve last meeting minutes, Will Lusk 2nd the motion.


-Report on Cache County Hazmat Team


Rod Kearl mentioned that the Hazmat Team are doing drills. Their last drill conducted 7/20 was a Deacon Drill.


-LEPC Business:


Kate Hoyt with Enviro Care presented information of what they have to offer.

Enviro Care is located in Salt Lake. They operate in five states, the Intermountain West. They have emergency response 24/7 365, all the time.

Their services are Emergency Response, Waste Material, and Industrial Services.

They are OSRO Inland Certified.

They work with all Federal Agencies.

-Round Table


Craig Humphreys mentioned that there is a lot of construction and many plans of development. 10th west has a lot of industrial development along with multifamily development.

Ladd Kennington mentioned that regular and diesel gas is in very high demand.


Will Lusk gave thanks for all those that participated in the active shooting exercise held earlier this week. He has been working with homes who are being impacted by the drought. He is working with homes water well pressure. He is looking forward to the earthquake drills in the fall.


Kimberley Giles mentioned that there is a Utah Public Safety Summit July 27th and 28th. There is an upcoming PIO (?) and Floodplain Conference in Moab.


Robby Lable is looking for Tech Rescue.


Todd Christensen provided information of the services the 85th WMD-CST provide.


Wade Francis provided information of what the state has to offer in support of hazardous materials. He also mentioned that class POD will be offered at the Bear River Health Department in September.
