Officials,
A
few things about working games
1) At all
rinks, after the end of the game, and after the 2 teams have shaken
hands
and left the ice,
Please move each net to one of the in zone face off dots and
then go sign the score sheet. The rinks are letting us
finish close games even if it
means
going over the time slot for that game. We need to make
sure we help
them make the ice,
and they are not waiting for us to move nets. Also, when
you put the nets against the boards, please then lean them
against the boards
so they are not touching the ice. The area that they sit on is
our lane to skate
in, so
we need to take care of that area, with no snow from the nets
2)
I try to have 2 people assigned to each game I am responsible for,
however there
are times that it
does not happen. If I know you will be alone, I will do my best
to let you know
before you get to the game. HERE
IS THE POLICY CHANGE
If you do a
game alone and
I have not contacted you, you now have 24
hours
to let me
know your
partner did not show up or was late to the game, (need to know how
late).
If this does not happen, you will not be paid the extra 1/2 game fee,
for
working
alone.
