WADI HALI AQUACULTURE PROJECT

(SHRIMP FARMING)

Ez Alsahra Holding Co., apart from its many other business activities (Defense and Homeland Security, ICT, Healthcare and Construction) ventured out to prospect the feasibility of setting up a sustainable integrated shrimp farming project in Saudi Arabia. In its pursuit, supported by a feasibility study & Technical Report by COFREPECHE – France and a market analysis report conducted by Ernst&Young-Saudi Arabia, Ez Alsahra Holding Co went on to invest in securing a viable and farmable land area along the Red Sea coast.

The farm will be located in Omok (In Jizan Province), which is about 200 km from ABHA, south of Qunfoda. The property is 15 Km along the Red Sea and approximately 2 Kms deep inland.

The Site:

The site is located about 200 Km North of Gizan and about 250 Km South of Jeddah, in the Asir Province, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The boundaries are comprised between 180 40’ and 180 35’ and between 410 19’ and 41014’E. The West border includes the Red Sea Cost. The Site is prepared into two parts by a river crossing the area east to west (the Wadi Hali). In all there is 30 Square Kilometers of land which has been allotted to ADACO for this project.

Along the site, the sea bed is also very flat and little depth is available on the shore to the coral reefs situated along the coast. In the central part of the site, the reef is located at about more than 1 Km from the shore. The salinity is also ideal for developing such a project in this region.

The site, if desired could be divided by the river into the north and south part.

In terms of logistics, the site is located at almost equal distance from the two main ports in the area: Jeddah & Gizan. Both ports have facilities to permit importation of needed equipment and farm inputs, as well as to export frozen shrimps (Jeddah).

Species:

Local Species:

Several peneids species are present in the Red Sea Costal waters and below mentioned are some.

Green Tiger Shrimp

Western King Shrimp

Witch Prawn

*Indian White Shrimp

Giant Tiger Shrimp

*Indicus, or better known as Indian White Shrimp, is one of the most important species in the Red Sea, and is of commercial importance in the local catches.

Shrimp Species for local Aquaculture:

Considering the present and actual knowledge of Shrimp Aquaculture, some of the local species are suitable for farming

P.Indicus

This shrimp is presently grown in Iran, India, and in some farms in Saudi Arabia. The species is rather easy to reproduce in hatchery and captive broodstock production is easy to control.

P.Mondon:

This is the fastest growing shrimp species in the World, growth survival is high (70%) and final weight in pounds reaches 30 g.

Proposed Species

It is important to note that it is useful to have the rearing possibilities of several species in a project, in order to compare problems of management and growth, to react quickly to market changes (Size, Color, Etc) and manage disease problems

With regard to the available technologies and water temperatures on site, 2 species could be reared in the farm, i.e., the black tiger and the White Shrimp.

In summary, Main Red Sea Shrimp Species

Indicus

Japonicus

Canalicutatus

Latisulcatus

Fabricius

Semisulcatus

Monoceros

Nabili

Curvirostris

Proposed Project Dimensioning

Total planned production for the whole project is about 7900 Tons of Shrimps. To simplify the project implementation; it was proposed to develop the project in modules, each of them responsible for the production of 990 Tons of indicus. To fulfill the production objective, eight modules will be built on the site.

Project Description

An integrated project will include 3 Production components: hatchery, growing farm and processing plant, and all necessary management and operations facilities: Offices, Maintenance, Storage and Staff Housing.

Fish Farming Potential in Wadi Hali Site

Fish Farming appears now as more and more interesting to be developed as a complimentary activity for Shrimp Aquaculture – Alternative Species for Diversification – and also as a complete business to supply the important demand in fish all over the world.

Potential Species to be cultured in Saudi Arabia

Tropical Sea Brass

The Red Drum

The Cobia

The Silver Sea Bream

The Mangrove Red Snapper

The Humpback Grouper

The Brown Marbled Grouper

The Greasy Grouper

Summary

The reports compiled by Ernst&Young and COFREPECHE exhibited an excellent potential to set-up a Shrimp Farm Project in Saudi Arabia. In line with this ADAC went on to secure a Shrimp Farm License and acquire the site. At the moment, ADAC is in procession of the land area and the license rights to shrimp farm.

* The above information provided are extremely brief inserts from the reports compiled, and the detailed version can be provided on request.

The Proposal

The Shareholders are interested to lease out this project to be run and managed by a foreign investor who have either the expertise and or are very well proficient in this type of business.

ADAC can support the foreign investor in terms of securing financing for the project through the various favorable industrial development initiatives assistance setup in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and further, if required provide for the basic infrastructure facilities to facilitate the setup of Shrimp Farm Project in Saudi Arabia.

The terms of such an agreement can be discussed in further detail further to the discussions that will follow.
