Academic deficiency is defined as a student who does not have passing grades in at least (5) courses in the preceding semester.

  1. Students with 5 unexcused absences will lose the privilege to drive to HCHS.

  2. Students who drive and are tardy to school are subject to the tardy policy. If arriving at school late becomes a persistent problem, after 3 unexcused tardies, driving privileges will be suspended for a period of two weeks, or revoked after the tenth tardy.

  3. Students must move their vehicles from the designated band practice area immediately after school dismisses in the afternoon.

  4. Students who drive a vehicle to attend school are obligated to purchase a parking permit from the school and to park on school grounds.

  5. The administration will be responsible for administering any disciplinary action to students whose vehicle displays vulgar, obscene, racist, or illegal drug messages. HCHS administration will be responsible for determining what is or is not appropriate. The action may result in parking privileges being revoked.

  6. Any breach of this contract may result in loss of privileges and/or disciplinary consequences.
