  1. Skate/Play at your own risk/ This a non-checking recreational league!!!.


  1. Inline Mandatory Equipment : Certified Hockey Helmet with/without cage, roller blades (no missing wheels), hockey gloves, elbow pads, athletic supporter, sticks may not have plastic blades, long pants (wind pants or sweats are fine as long as your pads are covered. A matching hockey team jersey with elbow pads covered no muscle shirts or t shirts allowed. Any player allowed to play as a 17 year old must wear full cage and equipment.

Goalie Equipment: no regulations (NHL Specs are not enforced), glove, blocker, pants, helmet with cage, leg pads, chest protector. Formed fitted mask for puck hockey or helmet and cage.


  1. All floor hockey and Inline hockey games are comprised of a 3 minute warm up with three (3) 15-minute periods, running-time, with a brief rest period between periods. Clock stops with 4 minutes remaining if the score is 2 goals or less in Floor and Roller. One timeout is available for each team per game of one minute in duration in both floor and Roller.


  1. Any additions to your roster must be given to the scorekeeper prior to the game in order to keep our roster copies updated. All subs must have waiver signed to be added on to your roster. No additions allowed after the third week. Inline teams can have a maximum of 12 players including all “subs”(not including goalies), Floor teams can have a maximum of 15 players including all “subs” (not including goalies). All players must have matching jerseys and have the same number every week, player can be asked to leave until jersey situation is corrected.


  1. The ruling of the referee is final.


  1. This is a non- checking league. You should expect incidental contact. However, the referee may issue a game misconduct to anyone who purposely violates this rule, said misconduct to be reviewed, with the offender possibly being removed by the League, suspended and fined


  1. Zero tolerance to fighting. Anyone fighting will be expelled from the game by the referee(s) and suspended one (1) game. Next fighting incident and player is suspended for season without refund, all suspension carry over till next season.

  1. Verbal and physical abuse of officials and arena personnel will not be tolerated. Abuse of any official (on/off ice) will not be tolerated by the League. The League reserves the right to suspend and fine or terminate any player for detrimental behavior. Any game misconduct penalty for abuse of official can be assessed a $50 fine. Player will not be able to participate until fine is paid in cash.


  1. Players must have a minimum of half the league games played with team to be eligible for playoffs (with the exception of the goaltender ).



  1. Ineligible players: This is an open league, a player that is listed on another teams roster may not fill in or play on any team in that same division. Game will be forfeited if this happens.


  1. Regular season Floor: no overtimes will be played. Inline one five minute sudden death period running time. Playoffs: 5-minute sudden death overtime. If no winner is determined, play will proceed with a three player shootout. If no winner is determined, a sudden-death shootout will proceed, using every other player on each team before going back to the original three.


  1. Floor: Any ball which hits the netting above the glass/boards shall be considered in-play; play will continue without a whistle, any ball hitting ceiling or metal trusses will be considered out of play. Inline: Any puck hitting netting and or ceiling including metal ceiling trusses will result in stoppage of play and face off being taken at nearest face off spot from where shot occurred. Floor/Inline: any ball/Puck shot out of play in defensive zone that player will receive delay of game(NHL Rule).


  1. Icing: no icing in Roller; Floor- if the ball is shot from behind your defensive blue line to the end of the rink, past the opposing team’s goal line (without going into the net), a “no-touch” icing will be called. Any icing infraction occurring after 3 infractions by same team in a game will result in a minor penalty for delay of game.


  1. Minor penalties such as hooking, slashing, interference, boarding, cross checking, holding, elbowing, etc. are assessed 2 minute penalty. Major penalties will be a Five minute penalty and player will be fined depending on severity. Any player receiving 3 or more penalties in a game will receive a game misconduct. Any player receiving 3 game misconduct penalties will receive a 4 game suspension. League officials reserve right to dismiss any player.


  1. High Sticking: floor hockey only when the stick is lifted above your waste prior to or during the follow through of a shot; play will be stopped and face off will be held in the defending end of team committing the infraction. First high stick for each team is a warning, 2nd high stick results in a minor penalty.



  1. Registration fee must be paid in full prior to being placed in your respective league. Final deposit must be paid in full by respective date given by league official. Failure to do so will disqualify team and they will be removed from any further league involvement. Failure to pay game official will be automatic forfeit by team and possible league dismissal.


  1. Payment schedule: Registration: due by May 12th, remaining balance due by game number four or teams will be removed from schedule.



  1. Bounced checks or credit cards are subject to a $50 fee.


  1. League reserves the rights to add/change rules or programs without prior notice.


  1. Standings: Floor hockey: 2 points for win, 1 for tie, any ties in standings between teams will be broken by 1) head to head records 2) Goals scored / (goals allowed + penalty minutes): higher quotient winning . Inline Hockey: 3 points for win, 2 for overtime win, 1 for tie in regulation, any ties in standings will be broken 1) head to head records 2) Goals scored / (goals allowed + penalty minutes): higher quotient winning.


  1. Any rule not covered shall be enforced according to the USA Hockey Inline rule book.


  1. Face offs: Floor/ Inline will be taken at square face off dot closest to ball /puck leaving play, frozen or instances of off sides. Stick blades must rest in front of square red square, player will be asked to leave if lined up improperly, if next player does not line up properly a delay of game penalty will be assessed that team. Referee will blow whistle and teams will have 10 seconds to line up, or ball/puck will be dropped without center being present.





  1. Goal crease rule: Rule 621 d and e Interference please read and understand…if any part of players body or stick is in goaltenders protected area (crease) before ball or puck, whistle will be blown and face off will be outside. If ball/ Puck is in crease player may play ball/puck without interfering with goaltender. Any purposeful contact with goaltender, that player will be assessed a penalty.




  1. I have voluntarily read the above rules and acknowledge that it is my responsibility as the Team Captain/ player rep.to have knowledge and full understanding of them. A copy will be posted in the arena’s main entrance in bulletin board.
