Description
The Advanced Diploma in Emergency and Disaster Management has been developed to meet the training needs of the strategic planners in emergency/disaster services, industry and communities by providing broad skills in the professional area of emergency and disaster management. It will build upon the framework established in the Diploma in Disaster Management and will develop depths of knowledge and planning skills in specific areas such as logistics, evacuation and the review of emergencies and disasters. This will allow students to develop an applied strategic approach to emergency management. To complete the advanced diploma students will undertake a supervised project within an industry setting to allow them to apply their skills and knowledge. Assessment
The assessment systems used will vary widely depending on the subject matter. Assessment methods include integrated continuous assessment, assignments, and end of module / semester examinations. There will be few exams and much report-writing combined with continuous assessment.

Minimum age is 24
A degree or diploma from a recognized tertiary institution (or approved equivalent). Applicants with relevant work experience are also eligible to apply, particularly where relevant professional practice has been undertaken.
Course Fee : $1850 for the entire course or $ 185 per module. (Minimum modules per Semester 3. Maximum: 4)
The fee can be paid in full or per semester in 2 installments.
