A Building Registration form is required for all construction projects. Building Registration forms may be downloaded here, or you can obtain a copy from the Mount Holly Town Clerk.
For new construction, you must apply for a Potable Water Supply and Wastewater Disposal Permit from the State of Vermont Wastewater Management Division. For more information, contact the Rutland Regional Office, 450 Asa Bloomer State Office Building, Rutland, VT 05701-5903; (802)786-5900.
New driveways and private roads must comply with the Town of Mount Holly Road and Bridge Standards. The standards can be downloaded here.
You may need to comply with other state regulations depending upon your location and the type of construction. Your lawyer should be able to advise you about these.
Subdivision of Property: If you are planning to divide your property to form two or more lots, you must comply with the Town of Mount Holly Subdivision Regulations.
