Complete the attached worksheet by filling in data from your emergency department by hour for patient volume (If you do not have data on hourly patient volume, a chart based on annual volume bands is provided to approximate your hourly patient volume.), beds open, nurse staffing, and physician staffing. The ratios designated in the remaining part of the spreadsheet will then be calculated.
