WHAT TO BRING

Personal Equipment

Please label clothes - one PC tie or sweatshirt is very like another!

Pony Club tagged hard hat (PAS015:1998 or 2012 Snell E2001, SEI, NOCSAE) & plain silk in navy or black

Flexible peak preferred, if jumping 80cm or more, this is mandatory

Riding jacket, gloves and hair net. Coat hanger for jacket

PC tie, sweatshirt, badge and jodhpurs (at least 4 pairs if available), dark coloured OK. Save a cream pair for Wednesday!

Long sleeve plain white shirts, cross country shirt/base layer if you have one

Waterproofs inc. trouser, Riding & Wellington boots, trainers

Sufficient underwear and socks

Casual clothes for the evenings

Towel, toiletries and night clothes

Single camp bed/mattress, sleeping bag, extra blanket, pillow and torch

Coloured pens/ pencils and paper

Body protector (compulsory, must be compliant to BETA level 3)

Dinner plate and bowl (not cutlery or mug)

Cake or small packet of kitkats/ mars bars (for the canteen) but homemade cakes are very popular – 1 per family will be sufficient!

Please do not bring a bike, baby wipes, vending machines are out of bounds this year. No Straighteners, hairdryers will be provided. You will not need your mobile phone, so please leave them at home.

Stable Equipment

Saddle and girth (no humane girths allowed), bridle, head collar and rope

Numnah – plain black, brown, navy or white

Whip, (spurs with card)

Grooming kit and tack cleaning equipment. Do not bring hoof oil.

Plaiting equipment

Mucking out equipment, shavings fork, skip bucket or wheelbarrow & broom (all labelled)

2 haynets and buckets (at least 2 for water or 1 large water trug)

Hard Feeds – 8 feeds in separate plastic bags, + feedbowl

Rugs (stable if worn & fleece to warm cold, wet ponies)

Dressage Test – this will be either (please learn the test you are comfortable with) PC Grassroots 2016, PC Novice Dressage 2009, PC Intermediate Dressage 2013.

Please do not bring unnecessary valuables to camp - we cannot be responsible for any loss.
