.2 Configuration:  14‑50R, 3 pole, 4 wire and ground.

2.3 INCANDESCENT LAMP DIMMERS


.1 Incandescent Lamp Dimmers:


.1 Rating:  120 V, 60 Hz, connected load plus 25%, 600 W minimum.

.3 Features:  integral On/Off switch at low end.


2.4 COVER PLATES


.1 Plastic:  3.9 mm thick [plastic] [nylon] [polycarbonate] with reinforcing ribs, smooth, rounded edges, nylon screws.


.2 Stainless Steel:  1.0 mm thick, protective release paper, stainless steel screws.


.3 Steel:  press formed with rounded edges and corners, [galvanized] [prime painted] finish, screws to match.


.4 Weatherproof:  [cast metal] [polycarbonate] with reinforcing ribs, [single] [double] flip lids, resilient rubber or closed cell foam urethane gasket, four mounting screws.

2.5 SPECIAL WIRING DEVICES


.1 Special wiring devices:

.1 Clock hanger outlets, 15 A, 125 V, 3 wire, grounding type, suitable for No. 10 AWG for installation in flush outlet box.

.2 Electric shaver outlets, 15 A, 125 V, ac with 20 VA isolating transformer with [stainless steel] [chrome plated] cover plate marked [RAZOR ONLY] [and] [RASOIR SEULEMENT].

.3 Pilot lights as indicated, with neon type 0.04 W, 125 V lamp and [red] plastic [jewel] [lense] flush type.


SPEC NOTE: Most computer equipment is supplied complete with cab tire cord and male connector to allow for possible location adjustments. Type of connector used varies with computer manufacturers. Refer to computer manufacturer for wiring devices.

3.1 INSTALLATION, GENERAL


.1 Install wiring devices as indicated and in accordance with manufacturer's written instructions.


.2 Install wiring devices only in electrical boxes which are clean.

.4 Provide a matching male plug for all receptacles other than 15 A, 5-15R configuration receptacles.


3.2 COVER PLATE INSTALLATION SCHEDULE
