FILE DATAZIP CONTAINS 14 OTHER ZIPFILES THE NAME OF

File DATA.ZIP contains 14 other ZIP-files. The name of these 14 files is D-xx-100.zip, where xx (from 10 to 23) is the number of part-types.

Each of these 14 ZIP-files contains 100 txt-files. The name of these 100 txt-files is D-xx-yy.txt, where xx is explained before and yy (from 1 to 100) is the number of instance with xx part-types. Every txt-file has 4+xx lines with the following information:

Line 1: the capacity of the machine

Line 2: qu (equal to 5 in all instances)

Line 3: qd (equal to 1 in all instances)

Line 4: xx (number of part-types)

Line 5: Dem(1), C(1) (demand arrival rate of part-type 1, nonnegative constant of part-type 1)

Line 6: Dem(2), C(2) (demand arrival rate of part-type 2, nonnegative constant of part-type 2)

Line 4+xx: Dem(xx), C(xx) (demand arrival rate of part-type xx, nonnegative constant of part-type xx)

The capacity of the machine is calculated as the integer value of (1.32 * DemTot + 0.5), where DemTot is the sum of the demand arrival rates of all part-types. The demand arrival rate of each part-type is an integer number uniformly distributed between 1 and 100. The nonnegative constant of each part-type is an integer number uniformly distributed between 1 and 20.

File SOLUTIONS.ZIP contains 14 files. The name of these files is S-xx.txt, where xx (from 10 to 23) is the number of part-types. Every txt-file has 100 lines with the following information:

Line 1: Value of the objective function of the optimal solution for the instance D-xx-1.txt

Line yy: Value of the objective function of the optimal solution for the instance D-xx-yy.txt

Line 100: Value of the objective function of the optimal solution for the instance D-xx-100.txt
