Assembly for Peugeot Jet Force y Ludix.
The speed of the mopeds of 50C.C is limited at 45 km/h in the European road network. In order to respect this legislation, connect the blue cable to the earth and your vehicle will be controlled to 45km/h.
Take
off the central back. Remove
the 2 screws of the foot board with a key of 10 and remove the
inferior foot board. Remove
to the support from the exhaust with a torx key. Remove
the 2 fixation nuts of the exhaust with a key of 10.
Remove
the catalytic pipe of the exhaust Remove
the superior screw BTR with Allen key of 8 from the exhaust support. Remove
the inferior screw with Allen key of 8 from the exhaust support. Remove
the ignition cover with a key of 8.
Remove
the left screw from the back mudguard. Take
off the back mudguard. Remove
the ventilator with a key of 8. Remove
the pick up from the original ignition.
If
you don’t have a compressed air gun, remove the
anti-interference. Take
out the spark plug. Screw
at the spark plug place the block piston stick. Turn
the rotor by hand in the opposite way of rotation in order to the
piston comes in contact with the block piston stick and to loosen
the ignition nut with a key of 14.
Remove
the rotor with an extractor Peugeot Ludix. Remove
the 2 fixation screws from the stator. Remove
the second fixation support screw the exhaust and to remove it. Disconnect
the ignition connector.
Cut
on the back, the original wire pass and recover it. Remove the
stator removing the cables until the connection previously
disconnected.
Disconnect
the black/red cable. Cut
fixation disc of the ignition cables. Drill
the 2 carter thread on 1 mm and check the thread.
Place
the support plate of the ventilator or the training fingers of the
water pump on the rotor with the original screws and checking the
screws depth, in order it doesn’t touch the stator.
Put
the Premium cables through the hole in the carter and tighten with 2
provided screws of 5x25mm. Put
the PREMIUM rotor on the crankshaft, placing the two red marks of
rotor and stator, at BTDC. Tighten
the PREMIUM rotor with the original nut, keeping the red mark of
stator with this of rotor, the one in front the other.
The
good red mark is the one
which the arrow corresponds to the motor rotation way.
Replace
the ventilator cover of the ignition or the water pump with the
original screws, for the models Ludix Blaster and Jet Force H2O to
put struts of 5 mm between the engine carter and the ignition
carter.
Connect
the Premium ignition connector with the original cables. Put the
yellow cables together and the white cables together.
Remove the
block piston stick and replace the spark plug and its connector cap.
Remove the
original CDI for the models with a PEUGEOT CDI, not Dellorto.
Put the
RJ051X MVT diagram at the original CDI place. For the models with a
Dellorto ACPH1 CDI, use a RJ054X diagram, put the red clip on the
black cable of the CDI without disconnecting it. Put the brown cable
not bared in parallel of the black on the clip and close the clip
with pliers in order the 2 cables are joined in parallel without
cutting the black cable of the diagram.
Disconnect the high voltage
coil cables. Connect the black cable on the green connection of the
original high voltage coil and the orange cable on the black
connection of the high voltage coil. Connect the second black cable
of the diagram to the earth frame, with green/yellow of the stator.
Connect the black/red cables of the stator and of the diagram
together.
Reassemble
the back mud-guard like at the disassembly. Reassemble
the exhaust like at the disassembly. Reassemble
the inferior foot board and the battery cover with the original
fixation screws.
Before
assemble the ignition, disassemble the spark plug if it is of black
colour it is necessary to lower of 5 points of carburetion, if it is
of colour chocolate or grey it is necessary to raise of 10 of 15
points of carburetion.
