Bid Form for Policy Sessions
The Conference Planning Committee is seeking bids to run policy and innovation sessions at our 2016 Conference.
Feedback has indicated a clear wish for fewer speakers and more opportunities for dialogue during the sessions as well as user involvement. It is very important you take this into account in terms of planning your session.
Policy Sessions – NCAS has always included a strong programme of policy sessions where there is an opportunity to look at policies, their applications and new and future developments as well as examples of innovation and good practice. These will be held throughout the conference with six sessions running simultaneously. All sessions need to be of high quality and relevant.
Before bidding for a policy session please ensure you read the contents of the shaded box below. To bid for a session you must use the form below and complete all sections. Do not exceed the character allocation or provide additional material as it will not be possible to transpose that onto the spreadsheet which will be considered by the Conference Planning Committee. It would be helpful if you could confirm that sufficient time will be allowed for debate and discussion during your session. Delegates should not be “talked at” but given an opportunity to learn and participate. User involvement will also be an important factor.
Bids to run policy or innovation sessions must be made in writing by 1 March 2016 |
All bids will be considered by the Conference Planning Committee, which is made up of representatives from the ADASS, ADCS and LGA. Bids will be considered in mid-March 2016 and therefore all bids must be received by 1 March at the latest.
