Mary Amelia Yocum Craven - 105, of West Plains - Graveside services were held at 10 a.m., on Saturday, Oct. 7, 2006, at Oak Lawn Cemetery under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Mrs. Craven died at 11:32 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2006, at West Vue Nursing Home. She as born on Oct. 13, 1900, in Trenton, Neb., to Augustus Caesar and Hattie Amelia Green Yocum. On June 6, 1923, she was married at Kirksville, Mo., to Thomas Harold Craven, who preceded her in death on Sept. 30, 1995. Mrs. Craven was a member of the First Christian Church of West Plains. She is survived by two nieces, Janice Kiel of Las Vegas, Nev., and Joyce Bowen of McKeam, Va.; many other relatives at Clarence, Mo.; and two special friends, Jack and Emma Lou Emerick of West Plains. Her parents; husband; one son, Warren Craven who was killed in a plane crash in 1957; three brothers; and one sister precede her in death. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Christian Church and left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
