IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUPPLYING ELECTRICIAN ON CONTRACT BASIS


1. Technical details are to be submitted as per the Prescribed format (Annexure—A) and to be put

in an envelope duly sealed and super-scribed as " Technical Bid – For Supplying Electrician on

Contract Basis " and mentioning the name of the firm/company,Address,Contact details and so on.


2. Financial details are to be submitted as per the prescribed format (Annexure-B) and to be put in

another envelope duly sealed and super-scribed as "Financial Bid- For Supplying Electrician on

Contract basis"and mentioning the name of the firm/company,Address,Contact details and so on.


3. Both the above mentioned envelopes containing "Technical Bid" and "Financial Bid" are to be

put in a big envelope duly sealed and superscribed as "Bid for Supplying Electrician on Contract

basis." and mentioning the name of the firm/company,Address,Contact details and so on.


4. The above mentioned big envelope duly sealed containing both " Technical Bid" and "Financial

Bid" are to be submitted to us before 3.00 p.m. On 31-01-2013. in the office of Chief

Manager,Administration Department,United India Insurance Co.Ltd.,No.24, Whites

Road,Chennai-600014.


5. Any offers received after above mentioned date and time will not be considered.


6. Offers received by post should also reach before the stipulated date and time.

Company will not be responsible for the Offers delayed/lost in transit.


7. EMD of Rs.5,000/- by way of Demand Draft drawn in favour of United India Insurance Company

Limited is also to be submitted along with "Technical Bid"(Annexure-A).


8. The qualified Contractor has to remit one month salary as Security Deposit before signing the

agreement/Contract as per specifications.

ANNEXURE – A


TECHNICAL BID



MINIMUM CRITERIA :


  1. Electrician should be well skilled and efficient.


  1. Electrician should be a B – Certificate holder.


  1. The company have to supply electrician for two shifts of 12 hours each.


  1. Elecrician should have a professional experience of minimum four years and should have knowledge on DG sets, A/c plants and other electrical equipments.


  1. Uniform for the electrician has to be provided by the firm.


  1. The Electrician have to attend the works at any place of Chennai at any time if required.


  1. Tool kit for the electrician has to be provided by the firm

(h) The contract for supplying electrician will be for period of six months.


(i) The function of agency should be in confirmity with Indian Labour Laws and all other laws applicable.

(j) An EMD of Rs. 5000 /- by way of Demand Draft/Bank Pay Order in favour of United India Insurance Co. ltd.,

payable at Chennai to be submitted along with completed tender forms.
